By engaging with our forwarding or delivery network, you're agreeing to these rules. Why do we have them? To ensure the safety of your cargo and the integrity of our supply chain.

We've been handling freight for years, and we know that clarity is the foundation of a good transit partnership. Don't worry, we'll keep the jargon to a minimum where possible.

2. Freight Insurance & Liability

Safety is our top priority, but we're realistic about the nature of transit. All clients must maintain valid freight insurance. While 1 COLD STORAGE ROAD LLC takes every precaution, our liability for loss or damage is strictly limited to industry-standard values unless otherwise agreed upon in a specific Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Have you reviewed your current policy lately? Most cargo requires specific coverage to be fully protected during long-distance forwarding.

3. Warehousing & Storage Rules

Our warehouses for freight transportation are high-security zones. Items stored at 196 CHASES POND RD are subject to specific intake protocols. We won't accept hazardous materials without prior written approval and proper documentation. We're sticklers for safety because our team and your goods deserve nothing less.

• Proper labelling is the client's responsibility.
• Standard 30-day notice for large-scale inventory removals.
• Payment terms for storage are Net-15 unless otherwise specified.

4. Transportation & Delivery

Logistics isn't just about moving boxes; it's about time. We strive for 100% on-time delivery. However, 1 COLD STORAGE ROAD LLC isn't liable for delays caused by acts of God, extreme weather in Maine, or global supply chain disruptions beyond our control. It works best when we stay in constant communication – that's our belief.
